It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing that we have made the difficult decision to close Hello Stitch Studio. We are so proud of what we have accomplished over the last 5 years and the community that has been built through the studio. Unfortunately, although we were able to hold on through the pandemic, we have been unable to come to terms with our landlords to extend our lease and will be closing our physical location at the end of February.
If you have any outstanding gift certificates, please use them! Just enter the coupon code "GIFTCERTIFICATE" at checkout and enter your 16 digit gift card code in the "Add a Note" section. Gift certificates are good towards anything at the studio!

Although we won't have a physical studio location, we will continue to offer online classes and longarm quilting services.

We want to especially thank everyone who has believed in our mission and supported us. While endings are bittersweet, we are hopeful that the seeds we've planted in the sewing community will continue to grow and flourish in new and exciting ways in the future.

FAQs
MEMBERSHIP
Can I continue my membership after the studio closes?
No, the primary benefit of the membership was access to the studio. Without a physical location, we do not plan to offer memberships.
Do I need to do anything to stop my membership?
If you want to keep your membership through February 28th you don’t need to do anything, we’ll take care of it for you. If you decide to end it prior to February 28th, you may do so by signing into the website (in the upper right corner of your screen) and going to My Membership.
What is the last day I can come to the studio to sew?
The last Member Sew day is Sunday, February 27th.
Are you changing your member hours?
Our studio hours are remaining: Tuesday and Thursday 10-4, Saturday 10-3 and Sunday 2-7. However, we may occasionally be closed during those times due to staffing issues or special circumstances. We do our best to keep the studio booking system up to date, if you can reserve time, we expect to be open and have space available.
CLASSES
Will you continue offering classes?
Yes! We are currently offering both in-studio classes and online classes. We will continue to offer online classes after the studio closes.
I don’t see the class I am interested in.
We are adding classes all the time. Sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date when new classes are listed. If there is something specific you are interested in please email us at hello@hellostitchstudio.com.
Is there anyplace else to take in-person classes?
A number of the local quilt shops offer classes. We also encourage you to look at the classes offered by Ace Makerspace.
Will you be offering classes to teach longarming?
No, we will be relocating the longarm to a space that doesn’t support classes.
I would like to teach at Hello Stitch.

LONGARM QUILTING SERVICES
Will you still be offering longarm quilting services?
Yes! We will resume longarm quilting in the spring.
Can I get my quilt quilted before you close the studio?
Sorry, unfortunately we are fully booked and have temporarily paused taking reservations in anticipation of moving the longarm. We will re-open in the spring.
Will it be just like it was before?
We will need to change our drop-off and pick-up locations and times. We will still specialize in edge to edge quilting services and will offer a broad selection of patterns and thread colors.
Will I be able to rent the longarm to do my own quilting?
No, we will be relocating the longarm to a space that doesn’t support longarm rental.
Is there someplace else that rents longarm time?
We are not aware of any place that currently offers that option. Please let us know if you find a place that will so we can let others know about it.
SHOPPING & SALES
Will I still be able to buy things from Hello Stitch after March?
No, we plan to discontinue having online shopping after March.
If I buy a sale item, may I return it?
All sales are final. Please be thoughtful when you purchase.
Can I buy one of your studio machines?
We will be selling the machines, equipment and furniture. Please watch for emails for a link, as studio items will not be posted on the website. We expect things will go quickly.
But, I really want something, can I reserve it now?
Sorry, we don’t have a system to allow for reservations.
What about small items from from the studio, can I buy those?
We plan to have an in-studio sale in early March to sell everything that remains. Please keep an eye out for more information.
