Studio Health & Safety

Your health and safety is very important to us! Please help us to keep everyone in our community safe.

Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available throughout the studio for sewists to use. Please wipe down your machine, work station and tools between use.

We ask that you fill out our Liability & Health Waiver form before coming into the studio. We are currently restricting our occupancy and will continue to keep classes and studio open sew days at reduced capacity.

Due to current health codes, everyone will be required to wear a mask while in the studio.

If you're not feeling well, or have Covid symptoms such as a fever, chills, loss of sense of smell or taste, please stay home. If you find that you may have been contagious when at the studio, please let us know so that we can stop the spread!

Member Studio Use

 

Hello Stitch is a shared community space. We always do our best to accommodate you and your project, but keep in mind that there are other members who use the space as well. We expect our members to be polite, helpful, and respectful to other studio users at all times.

 

All users of the Hello Stitch Studio are responsible for their own safety. Hello Stitch will not be held liable or responsible for any injury sustained by using any of the facilities or equipment in the studio.

 

If at any time you notice any equipment and/or tools which are not functioning properly, stop using the equipment and contact a member of the Hello Stitch staff.​

 

A studio assistant will always be on hand to provide tool and machine trouble-shooting and support. We are also happy to help with tips, tricks, and encouragement! Studio members should not expect one-on-one attention, as found in our classes. If we feel that you need more help than we can provide, we will help find you a class that will put you on the right path - and if you are a member, you get a discount!

Booking a Studio Sewing Day Pass: 

  • Member Day Passes must be used monthly and will not roll over to your next billing cycle.

  • Please book your day pass in advance. We use these bookings to determine if we need to staff the studio for that day.

  • If you come to the studio without a reservation, studio space may look available, but we won't be able to accommodate you if there are already reservations for that spot on that day. 

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit your pass and are not eligible for studio credit. If you are unable to come in because you are sick, please contact us directly to get credit.

Shoes are required at all times as you move about the studio. We understand you may like to sit at the machine with your shoes off, however, we ask that you wear shoes for your safety as you leave your immediate workstation.

 

Please be considerate with your cell phone usage. Calls are allowed within reason but we ask that ringers be turned down or set to vibrate, and that conversations be kept to a bare minimum.
