About the Event
**This is a 2 session class: Saturday, June 13 & 20, 10am - 4pm**
Take your sewing skills to the next level! In this class, you'll take a deep dive into shirt-making with expert garment instructor Beth Galvin. We love the chic look and classic style of the Kalle Shirt & Shirtdress from Closet Case patterns. When choosing patterns to base our classes on, we particularly appreciate patterns that have more than one style option, as the best part of working with a pattern is perfecting it and then using it more than once. With the Kalle, you can take the basic pattern and use it to make a variety of different pieces that vary in style and length, making each item unique!
This class will cover:
- Pattern adjustments and fitting
- Making beautiful plackets
- Tips and tricks for better construction and faster sewing
Skill level: ✂️✂️
You have a few projects under your belt. You aready know how to thread and use a sewing machine, sew curved seams, and are comfortable using pattern markings. This class is a great fit for those who have taken our Learn to Sew 1 class class series and are ready to make more advanced garments.
Supply List: You will be required to purchase the Kalle pattern and fabric for your project. A detailed supply list will be emailed upon registration.
*This class comes with 2 free hours of lab time at Hello Stitch so that you can stay later and keep working on your project with the help of the Hello Stitch Staff!
