Create a small quilt or a seasonal wall hanging by layering sheer chiffons and organza over more robust cottons. Whether you are interested in learning a unique technique to create your own textiles or want to make beautiful hand-made holiday gifts or decorations, this is the class for you!

Julia McLeod is passionate about using fabric responsibly by upcycling and working with fabrics she has on hand or finds at thrift stores. She is constantly experimenting with techniques to bring these textiles to the next level and the results are simply stunning. 

In this class, Julia will explore how she uses varied combinations of color, pattern and texture to create her quilts. She will teach you her technique of fusing fabrics together to build layers with unexpected and beautiful results.
