Doodling for Fun and Relaxation

About the Event

Learn how fun and relaxing it is to sit with pen and paper and doodle! Are you one of those people who has always wanted to be able to draw, but felt discouraged or didn't know where to start? Are you always on the computer and worried that you're loosing your small motor skills? Do you want an activity that can help calm a restless mind? Doodling can help! Once you've learned a few basic designs, you'll be able to make up your own patterns and gain confidence in your own creative abilities.

This is also a great tool in the free-motion quilter's toolbox. As we tell all of our domestic and longarm quilters - if you can doodle it, then you can quilt it! We will be working with some continuous line doodle ideas that can translate directly into ideas for your next quilt!

Skill level: ✂️

This class is open to all levels.

Supplies:

We will email printable doodle pages prior to class. Other than that, you will only need to bring a pen of your choice. (You may want to try out a few different types of pen to see if you have a favorite!)
