Learn To Quilt 102: Finish Your Quilt

**This is a 2 session class: Thursdays April 30 & May 7, 6pm - 9pm.**

Learn how to finish your completed quilt top with instructor Chelsea Hard. In this class, she will cover quilt making basics including:

• Basting your quilt layers
• Using a walking foot to quilt the layers together
• Trimming your quilted quilt
• How to bind your quilt

This is a continuation of Learn To Quilt I, however, students with completed quilt tops under 55" square are also welcome to join the class! 

Skill level: ✂️✂️

You have a few projects under your belt. You aready know how to thread and use a sewing machine and you're ready to learn more advanced basics.

Supply List:

A complete supply list will be emailed to you upon registration.

Students may stay to keep working on their quilt until 8pm the day of the class.

About the Instructor:

Chelsea Hard made her first quilt perched on the edge of the couch with her sewing machine on the coffee table. Now practicing better ergonomics, she is an avid quilt maker and enjoys all aspects of sewing by both hand and machine. When not purchasing craft supplies she’ll only use once or actively avoiding organizing her studio, she is the President of the South Bay Area Modern Quilt Guild and an award winning jam maker. Chelsea currently resides in the East Bay with her two sewing machines.

Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend. Age Policy:

Youth age 14 and up may register for adult classes. In order to participate in class, all minors will need a signed parental consent form. If you will not be dropping your student off at the first session of class, please contact us and we will email you a form to fill out and send with your child.
