About the Event
**This is a 2 session class. Thursdays, February 20 & 27 from 6-8pm.**
Let's make a snub-nosed stars. No points, no fuss. This is a very liberating and fun quilt to make. The quilt block and setting is based on a vintage quilt made from old clothes - mostly shirts, so feel free to rummage through your closet, hit the thrift store, or bring your scraps and let's make do.
We will cover block construction of the snub-nosed star (similar to making a nine-patch) including how to "cut off" the points, working with clothing vs yardage, sashing and sewing the blocks into a quilt top.
Skill level: ✂️✂️
Anyone with basic sewing/quilting skills is welcome. The ability to sew a straight 1/4" seam and rotary cutting experience is required.
