Studio Day with Artist Margaret Fabrizio

Join us to learn more about our current gallery artist, Margaret Fabrizio's technique for making kawandi style quilts as she works on her latest piece at Hello Stitch Studio. During this in-process studio day, she will be working on a larger piece which is already in process and will also begin a new small piece. 

“Perhaps the most meaningful things one learns are the things that have no words.” 

Margaret learned the technique that she uses by watching the Siddi women work while visiting with them in India. (You can learn more about her pilgrimage HERE.) Her teachers spoke no English, so it made for a different type of learning experience.  In order to carry on this tradition, she will probably not be talking or explaining things very much. This is not a class or workshop, but an in-process studio day where you are invited to come, watch and learn.

Entry tickets are on a sliding scale. All fees will be passed on to the artist. Due to the nature of this event, we will not be able to issue any credit for cancellation, but you are welcome to pass your ticket on to a friend!
