About the Event

Just learning how to sew garments and want to make a lovely, everyday blouse? Or maybe you've sewn a few garments and want to attempt to sew with a more advanced fabric? Come sew the Ogden Cami from True Bias Patterns with us! Once you get your fit right in class, you'll be able to make one in every color!

The Ogden has a soft V neck at both center front and center back necklines, and delicate spaghetti straps. You will finish the neckline and armholes with a partial lining for a beautiful, high end finish.

In the class you will learn how to:

  • Work with a sewing pattern
  • Correctly measure your body and adjust the pattern to fit
  • Accurately cut your fabric
  • Construction techniques
  • Make spaghetti straps
  • More advanced - work with finer (slinky & slipper) fabrics

Skill level: Advanced Beginner - You have a couple of small projects under your belt. You already know how to thread and use a sewing machine and you're ready to learn more advanced basics.

Supplies: The supply list will be mailed upon registration. (The Ogden Cami pattern is not included in the class cost and will need to be purchased separately.)

*This class comes free lab time until 8pm the day of your class so that you can stay and work on your pattern with the help of Hello Stitch Staff.
