About the Event

Is getting ready for the holidays stressing you out? Join us for a quick pick-me-up by sewing a Scrappy Improv Quilted Potholder! This potholder is a beautiful and functional addition to anyone's kitchen, and it makes a great gift!

This class will cover:

  • An improvisational quilt-as-you go technique
  • How to smoothly apply bias tape and work with curved edges

You've been sewing for a while and you have a pretty good handle on the basics. You're looking to delve into more advanced techniques, like working with bias tape and sewing curves.

Supplies: All materials for one potholder are included, however if you have a specific style or colorway in mind, please bring your own fabric scraps and thread.
