Online: Sew a Chore Jacket
About the Event
Tuesdays in June, 6-7:30pm PDT (4 Meetups)
A chore jacket is practical, comfortable and stylish. It'll become your goto jacket to layer with any outfit - dressing up a pair of jeans or adding a functional flair over a dress. And, did we mention pockets, because chore jackets usually have a bunch of them. Their loose, slightly boxy, fit makes it a great three season jacket, either worn on its own or layered over a sweater.
For the month of June, join Beth to make a chore jacket! There are lots of great patterns out there, so you choose your favorite and we'll all sew them up together!
A few options:
- Sienna Maker Jacket by Closet Core Patterns
- The Ottoline by Merchant & Mills
- Julien Chore Jacket by Ready To Sew
- The Ilford Jacket by Friday Pattern Co.
The Garment Sew Club meets each Tuesday when Beth will introduce a new topic or skill that will be related to the project and answer all of your questions.
