ONLINE: Sew a Boiler Suit with Beth Galvin

Looking to build your skills and make new sewing friends? Join us for a month-long, live online workshop with our expert garment instructor, Beth Galvin! This class is part formal class instruction, and part sewing social time sprinkled with helpful hints, tips, and (virtual) helping hands. It's always more fun to sew together!

For the month of February, we're focusing on making Boiler Suits! Otherwise known as cover-alls or flight suits, these loose fitting jumpsuits are all the rage because they're comfy AND cute! And talk about no-worry dressing - just pull it on and you're ready to go!

There are lots of great patterns out there, so you choose your favorite and we'll all sew it up together!

This online workshop meets each Tuesday when Beth will introduce a new topic or skill that will be related to the project. Then meet up again on Thursdays for Social Sewing and one-on-one trouble-shooting.

You have a few projects under your belt. You aready know how to thread and use a sewing machine and you're ready to learn more advanced basics.

So that you can be sure to get your pattern in time, we recommend purchasing your pattern digitally. If you've never done a PDF pattern before, we have a great tutorial on our blog. About the instructor: 

Beth Galvin started sewing at age 7 and can sew everything from casual knit tops to tailored jackets to over the top party dresses. She has a popular sewing blog, Sunnygal Studio where she shares her tips and tricks and she also blogs for Craftsy. Beth loves to help people get the pattern they love to fit the way they want. She is brilliant at adding stylish little details that make your projects look professional and special, but what's even better is that she has figured out how to make it easier! One of her favorite things is to teach you the tips and shortcuts that will make your sewing faster and also more fun. Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend. No refunds or studio credit will be given for late arrivals or no-shows.
