ONLINE: Patchwork Mending with Kristen Takakuwa

Make Do and Mend! Learn how to make your wardrobe last longer and look fabulous. In this workshop, you will work with damaged materials to make them beautiful by adding decorative stitching. We will supply you with all of the tools and materials you will need for your "patch kit." All you will need is a pencil, iron, and stained or ripped clothes and we'll dive right in!

This workshop will be recorded and will be made available to class participants for 2 weeks following the lesson.

This class is open to every skill level.

Supplies: We will ship the class kit to you anywhere in the US.* You can also pick up your kit from Hello Stitch during our curbside pickup hours (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, 11am - 3pm). Kits are usually shipped (or available for curbside pickup) one to two weeks before class. We'll send you a notice as soon as they are shipped or ready for pickup!

In order to receive your kit in time for class, please register before October 4th for shipping and October 8th for curbside pickup. Curbside pickup is available at Hello Stitch on Tuesdays,Thursdays, and Saturdays between 11am - 3pm. We will send a notice when kits become available.

About the instructor: 

Kristen Takakuwa is one of the original founders of Hello Stitch and learned to sew at the age of 8. Sewing has been a lifelong habit ever since! She has been teaching sewing to adults and kids for over 10 years and loves nothing more than sharing her skills and enthusiasm for sewing with others.

Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend. Supply kit fee of $10 and the shipping fee are non-refundable.
