Layered Fabric Assemblage

Learn many techniques for creating a truly unique and stunning art piece, with multiple layers and textures of fabric.  You'll create a base, covered with beautiful overlays of fabric, surrounded by shapes that extend outward, giving the piece added shape, dimension and excitement. The final piece will hang on the wall. No sewing involved. 

Skill level: 🎨

Perfect for beginning through advanced artists! You don't need to know how to sew because there is no sewing.

You'll receive a supply list when you register for class.

Online Community

We've created an online group through the Hello Stitch website for you to share your progress, connect with each other, and get content or re-watch video of the class.

About the instructor: 

Vicki Assegued, M.A. is an innovative fiber artist, continually experimenting with, and discovering new techniques to bring out a wide range of effects and structures for both 2D and 3D art pieces. Vicki greatly enjoys working with the vast variety and possibilities that fabrics and fibers offer. She loves to share her techniques with her students and support them to go beyond what they've done in the past, to create their own unique and stunning fiber art. She teaches privately and through various art schools and exhibits/sells her art at various galleries and shows.

Cancellation and Class Policies:

Please select your class carefully, we are not be able to issue refunds for online classes. One of the benefits of online classes is that they are recorded so you can watch the class at a time that is convenient for you up to two weeks following the last class. If you let us know ahead of the first class, you may transfer the workshop to a friend. 

Tickets are intended for one guest. If you will have multiple viewers, please purchase a ticket for each viewer. This allows us to pay our teachers fairly for their services. The teacher has the right to remove you from the class if you have additional viewers.
