Looking to build your skills and make new sewing friends? Join the Hello Stitch Garment Sewing Club! It's always more fun to sew together! This online class is part formal class instruction from our expert garment instructor, Beth Galvin, and part sewing social time sprinkled with helpful hints, tips, and (virtual) helping hands. 

We're kicking off the club by doing a Cielo Sew Along! For the month of September, you will meet with Beth each Tuesday as she introduces new topic or skill that will be related to the project. Choose to meet for "Happy Hour" between 5pm and 6pm, or join us for us "After Dinner" from 7pm to 8pm. Then meet up again on Thursdays from 6-8pm for Social Sewing. For those who need a little more help with their machines, we'll also hold Office Hours to help troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

A little more info about the pattern. In September, we will be working with the Cielo pattern by Closet Core Patterns (formerly Closet Case Patterns). We love the details in this shirt and it looks fabulous on all body types! The pattern also includes 4 different styles, 2 shirts and 2 dresses. That's a lot of value from one pattern!

You have a few projects under your belt. You aready know how to thread and use a sewing machine and you're ready to learn more advanced basics.

Supplies: We have put together a complete kit which is available through our online shop. Purchase of our kit is not required, but you will need your own copy of the Cielo pattern in order to participate. When you register for the Club, you will get a 20% discount off of the kit. 

The paper pattern is available in size 0-20 through our shop, but you can purchase a PDF version through the Closet Core website for sizes 22-30 and we will tailor a supply kit just for you! Just send us a note letting us know the size and your fabric choice.

About the instructor: 

Beth Galvin started sewing at age 7 and can sew everything from casual knit tops to tailored jackets to over the top party dresses. She has a popular sewing blog, Sunnygal Studio where she shares her tips and tricks and she also blogs for Craftsy. Beth loves to help people get the pattern they love to fit the way they want. She is brilliant at adding stylish little details that make your projects look professional and special, but what's even better is that she has figured out how to make it easier! One of her favorite things is to teach you the tips and shortcuts that will make your sewing faster and also more fun. Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend. No refunds or studio credit will be given for late arrivals or no-shows.
