Camp Stitch ONLINE: Sweet Dream Hand Sewing

Have fun crafting during Summer Break with Hello Stitch!  Are you ready for some interactive activities?  We have created a crafty curriculum full of activities for your kid to do at home with the help of live, online instruction with our camp counselor. We promote a supportive, encouraging and stress-free atmosphere for exploring crafty adventures.  During Sweet Dream Hand Sewing, students will learn techniques involved with handstitching and construction techniques with needle and thread. Sweet Dream projects may include some of the following: eye mask, pillow case, neck pillow or stuffie.

Here's how it works: The week before camp starts, you will be able to pick up your camp kit at Hello Stitch* on Tuesday or Thursday between 11am and 3pm. This kit will be filled with everything your kid will need to stay creatively engaged at home. Not close to the studio? We can ship the kit straight to your door.  And then, your child will meet up with the online instructor and other campers to learn a new, fun craft. We are limiting our online camps to just 8 campers, so we can really get to know and interact with everyone!

*If you prefer to have your kit mailed directly to your home, just let us know when you register and we will send over a separate invoice for the $10 cost of shipping.

Each session will be recorded for reference to be shared only with those in your session. You will receive a link to each day's session at the end of the day.

About the Instructor:

Myriah van de Kraats grew up with every Klutz craft book she could get her hands on. She was always making things for friends and family, from pot holders to melty beads. In school, Myriah learned to cross-stitch, embroider, knit and crochet which lead her down a new path of crafting. In college she got sucked into the world of theatre costuming and got her BA in Theatre with an emphasis on costume construction at SFSU. She is a favorite with the camp kids at Hello Stitch!

Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend. Supply kit fee of $55 and any shipping fees are non-refundable.

No refunds or studio credit will be given for no-shows.
