About the Event
Interfacing - it's the backbone of a successful and polished looking garment. Want to learn more about what interfacing can do to elevate the look of your sewing projects and how to use it properly? Join expert Beth Galvin for a class on everything interfacing!
This online session will cover:
- What interfacing does for your sewing and why it's necessary
- Different interfacing types
- Where it is used
- How to choose which one to use for your fabric and for your pattern
- How to apply it
- Tips and tricks for using it successfully
- Extra spots to use interfacing the pattern instructions don’t tell you
- Recommendation for interfacings to keep in your supply stash
The class will wrap up with a Q&A among the group.

About the instructor:
Beth Galvin started sewing at age 7 and can sew everything from casual knit tops to tailored jackets to over the top party dresses. She has a popular sewing blog, Sunnygal Studio where she shares her tips and tricks and she also blogs for Craftsy. Beth loves to help people get the pattern they love to fit the way they want. She is brilliant at adding stylish little details that make your projects look professional and special, but what's even better is that she has figured out how to make it easier! One of her favorite things is to teach you the tips and shortcuts that will make your sewing faster and also more fun. Sign up for one of Beth's classes and let her teach you how satisfying it can be to sew great clothes that make you look great!
Cancellation Policy:
Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend.
If a student arrives 10 minutes or more after the start of class, it is at the discretion of the teacher as to whether the student will be admitted to the Zoom meeting. No refunds or studio credit will be given for late arrivals or no-shows.
