Are you new to using a gel printing plate? Not to worry, this is the workshop for you.
Start by getting comfortable with what a gel plate can do. Next, we will create compositions and patterns through abstract marks to learn how to layer and make complex prints.
This workshop is great for beginning printmakers who want an easy introduction to the world of monoprinting, as well as experienced artists who need a few hours of creative play. We will create quick, no-pressure mono prints on a variety of paper using simple marks and symbols. Note: You will not be learning image transfers in this session. This workshop is solely for creating your own abstract compositions.
