Make a Woodland Dopp Kit

This class will cover:

• Sewing with waxed canvas
• How to put in a zipper
• How to insert the rivets 

Skill Level: Beginner (102) - You have used a sewing machine before, but are still building your confidence.

Supplies: All supplies are included. Each student will recieve the complete Woodland Maker Kit. We have Slate Blue, Black, Marigold, and Moss waxed canvas kits available. You can see the color options here. Each kit includes:

About the instructor: 

Valerie Gibbins is a native of Oakland and a lifelong sewist. She recently moved back to the Bay Area after attending graduate school in Philadelphia and working as a Textile Designer in North Carolina. Her obsession with fabric and passion for creating with her hands has provided her with knowledge in multiple areas of design: apparel, textiles, and accessories. In addition to her design knowledge, Valerie brings her teaching experience to Hello Stitch, where she hopes to encourage confidence in everyone's creative abilities. 

Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend.
