Sew a Modern Japanese Style Rice Bag with Liat Rorer

The Japanese Rice bag is straightforward project that gives you the opportunity for some creative sewing and also builds the basic skills to make a bag. This is a great "first project" once you've learned to thread and use a sewing machine.
Will spend the first hour constructing the patchwork for the outside of the bag. This is a great opportunity to use up some scraps to create a bag to match your personal style. After that, we'll dive into constructing the bag.
Although rice bags are traditionally used for gifts, they make great bags for your sewing projects or to use as a lunch tote.
