Binding your own books is a fun, challenging, and addictive adventure. Once you start to add fabric into the mix it gets even better. Join artist e bond in this intimate class setting to learn & practice basic bookbinding skills while making actual books. In this workshop, students will learn how to sew a handmade book from start to finish using your stash of quilt blocks or any kind of fabric as book covers.
The workshop includes everything you’ll need to make the book plus a small kit of tools you can take with you. To customize your book, you are encouraged to bring at least two (2) 7”x 7” quilt blocks (and/or) pieces of fabric to complete the front and back book covers. You don’t have to pre-cut anything, but make sure whatever pieces you bring…
