Learn To Quilt II: Finish Your Quilt (2 Session Class)

Learn how to finish your completed quilt top with instructor Michelle Wyman. In this class, she will cover quilt making basics including:

- Basting your quilt layers

- Using a walking foot to quilt the layers together

- Trimming your quilted quilt

- How to bind your quilt

This is a continuation of Learn To Quilt I, however, students with completed quilt tops under 55" square are also welcome to join the class!

This class is two, 2-1/2 hour sessions

Date: Two Tuesdays, This is a 2 Session Class - October 2 & 9, 6-8:30pm.

Skill level: Beginner (102)

About the Instructor:

Michelle Wyman has an MFA in the performing arts and worked professionally in San Francisco and Los Angeles before settling down to raise three kids. She has always been a “maker” and whether it was back stage or while chasing her kids around she kept her passion for textiles going with knitting, spinning, sewing and fabric dying. She made her first quilt for her first born 30 years ago an her passion for quilting, embroidery and anything textile related has only grown over the years. Her quest for learning new techniques from master quilters and fabric designers has led her to attend numerous workshops around the country. She loves nothing more than to share her passion with her students young and old!
