Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embellishment using a running stitch of heavy white cotton on indigo fabric. During this live, online workshop you will discover the beauty and artistry of sashiko hand stitching.
In this class, Sandra will teach you how to work with stencils to add sashiko stitching to your quilts, clothes, bags, or anything made of fabric! We will supply you with a stencil, marking pencil, fabric, thread and needles, so you'll be ready to dive in and start stitching.
