IN STUDIO: Copy Your Favorite Garment

Do you love your shirt so much that you wish you had a closet full of them? What about that skirt you bought a few years ago that has seen better days but you keep wearing it because it fits you perfectly? Copy it! Come learn from expert garment instructor, Beth Galvin as she show you how to copy a shirt or skirt into a flat pattern that you can use to create an entire wardrobe of favorites.

You have a few projects under your belt. You aready know how to thread and use a sewing machine and you're ready to learn more advanced basics.

Supplies: All supplies are included with this class. We will not be sewing in this class, only drafting the pattern. Please bring a simple blouse, shirt, or skirt for your first project. Start simple - end successful!

About the instructor: 

Beth Galvin started sewing at age 7 and can sew everything from casual knit tops to tailored jackets to over the top party dresses. She has a popular sewing blog, Sunnygal Studio where she shares her tips and tricks and she also blogs for Craftsy. Beth loves to help people get the pattern they love to fit the way they want. She is brilliant at adding stylish little details that make your projects look professional and special, but what's even better is that she has figured out how to make it easier! One of her favorite things is to teach you the tips and shortcuts that will make your sewing faster and also more fun. Cancellation Policy:

Class fees are transferable to another class or to studio credit if cancellation is made at least 72 hours before class. If cancellations are made after the 72 hour advance window has passed, we will not be able to issue refunds or studio credits. You can, however transfer the class to a friend. Age Policy:

Youth age 14 and up may register for adult classes. In order to participate in class, all minors will need a signed parental consent form. If you will not be dropping your student off at the first session of class, please contact us and we will email you a form to fill out and send with your child.
