About the Event

IN PERSON: Class, Sunday, April 7th, 10AM - 3PM PST

Bay Quilts

Learn to create and incorporate your own imagery into your fiber arts projects. In this workshop you will learn how to create your own stencils and print on fabric. We will print on 6-inch squares, play around with their juxtaposition, and then piece them together. The finished product can be a nine square piece, or you can keep each square individual and make them into coasters or table-top squares.

The techniques and skills learned can be applied to quilt making, garment making, and other fiber arts pieces and are a wonderful way to personalize your work. You can add stitching on top of your printing if time allows. The project will be hand stitched, and will only be pieced together - not backed and bound - although different finishing techniques will be discussed.

Skill level: ✂️

This class is for all creatives! You don't need sewing skills.

Supplies: You will receive the fabric and equipment requirements once you sign up. Bay Quilts is glad to help you select fabrics.
