Hello Stitch at the Berkeley Repair Cafe

Hey Berkeley! We'll be at the Berkeley Repair Café on Saturday, May 5th from 11am to 2:30pm. Instead of throwing it out - why not fix it?

Volunteers will be on hand who know how to repair all kinds of things — from bikes, clothing, and electronics, to lamps, mechanical, and handheld appliances. Bring a broken item, puzzle over it with volunteer fixers, then work together to see if you can bring it back to life. (If they're super-busy, one item per person, please.) Hello Stitch will be on hand to help you fix ripped jeans, torn skirts, and loose buttons. Bring it by and we'll help show you how! Walk-ins are welcome, registration is encouraged.
