Hand quilting is a wonderful way to add color and texture to your quilt. It can be used either as an alternative or addition to machine quilting. Fern will teach you how to hand quilt and take you through all the tips and tricks she uses for her quilts. By the end of class you'll be a hand quilting convert!
Fern will walk you through all the steps of a hand quilting project:
We will begin the class with discussing sandwiching – the pros or cons of pins or basting. After you decide what you want to try, you'll construct your quilt "sandwich."
