About the Event
Join Hello Stitch Gallery artist Kim Eichler-Messmer and explore a variety of ways to translate your color inspiration into modern quilts. We will start with color theory exercises using paint chips to create palettes, learn how to translate those into fabric, and finish up with small sewn color studies. You will leave class with greater confidence in how to put together colors in your quilts.

About the instructor:
Kim Eichler-Messmer is an Associate Professor of Fiber at the Kansas City Art Institute, where she has taught surface design, quilting, and natural dye since 2008. Kim received an MFA in Textiles from the University of Kansas and a BFA in Drawing and Printmaking from Iowa State University.
