About the Event
In this class, you will use the fun and versatile I Spy the Alphabet quilt pattern designed by Terri Carpenter to explore machine paper piecing techniques and materials. We will also discuss general quilt design decisions in regards to color, value and fabric design placement. This class is geared towards beginners with basic sewing experience. You will expand your knowledge and expertise with this fun quilt technique while making a quilt top perfect for babies and toddlers. *Due to time constraints, complete quilt construction not covered in class, but you will get enough instruction on the technique to continue your alphabet on your own.
Skill Level: All Levels
Supplies: The supply list will be provided upon registration. The class cost includes the PDF pattern for I Spy the Alphabet.*
About the Instructor:
Terri Carpenter's love of sewing lead her to become one of the owners of Hello Stitch. Her passion began with quilting (over 20 years ago!) and has evolved to include many different varieties of textile art.
